Welcome!

Greetings – welcome to my blog!  That is an interesting comment for me to make since I'm not even sure how a blog operates.  But over the course of upcoming months and years – I hope to learn.

I started this blog to talk about why I became an author and to discuss the book I recently wrote – Into the Realm of Time.  Eventually I plan to discuss future writing efforts.

First, a little background.  I am an environmental consultant with science degrees.  Over the past five decades I have written a multitude of environmental related technical reports, articles, memos, emails, etc.

After my Dad passed and I turned 60  (not that long ago), I decided it was time to tap my imagination and "release" my creative writing which had been suppressed by all the technical writing.  It took three years, since I started writing my novel, to publish Into the Realm of Time on Amazon/Kindle.

The moral of the story is:  you are never too old to try and do something different – whether it is to travel to a new country, volunteer to an organization out of your comfort zone, take up a new sport – or write a novel.
